How do I activate my Mobile Banking service?

To avail of ADC Bank’s IMPS service, the customer needs to:

  • Visit his/her home branch and fill up the Value Added Services form.
  • Provide valid id proofs for verification.

Once the customer details are updated in bank records, the customer will be provided a PIN MAILER. (which contains a first-time login password i.e. MPIN) The PIN will be sent to the customer’s address from ADC Bank.
To avail of the services of IMPS, the customer needs to activate the Mobile Banking services.

1) What is IMPS?
  • Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) enables you to instantly transfer funds online from your bank account to other bank accounts using MMID. This service is available 24×7 through Mobile Banking. This service is brought to you by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in collaboration with member banks.
2) Who can use IMPS?
  • All resident current and savings account holders of the bank who are registered for Mobile Banking are eligible for this service.
3) What is MMID?
  • MMID stands for Mobile Money Identifier. MMID is a 7-digit code issued by participating banks to their customers for availing IMPS. MMID is issued to only those customers whose preferred mobile number is registered with the bank.
4) What are the steps for IMPS fund transfer via Mobile Banking?
  • Steps to transfer funds using mobile number and MMID:
    • On Mobile Banking App, Select “Immediate Payment Services (IMPS)”
    • Select “Funds Transfer – To Mobile Number”
    • Select the Account Number from which you want to transfer the amount
    • Enter the Beneficiary MMID, Mobile Number, Amount, Remarks, and MPIN.
    • Click on PROCEED Transaction
    • Verify the transaction details and click on Confirm.
  • Steps to transfer funds using the :
    • On Mobile Banking App, Select “Immediate Payment Services (IMPS)”
    • Select “Funds Transfer – To Account Number”
    • Select the Account Number from which you want to transfer the amount
    • Select the Account Number / Beneficiary
    • Enter Amount, Remarks, and MPIN.
    • Click on PROCEED Transaction
    • Verify the transaction details and click on Confirm.
5) What is OTP?
  • OTP stands for One Time Password generated by customers at the time of making payments at merchant websites via IMPS. It is a six-digit number valid for a single transaction (success or failure).
6) What is MPIN?
  • MPIN is 4 digit numeric password, which is used to authenticate your financial or non-financial transactions.
7) What details do I need to share with the sender to receive money in my ADC Bank account?
  • Depending on the facility provided by the sender bank, you need to share your 10-digit preferred mobile number registered with ADC Bank and the 7 digits MMID of your ADC Bank account or your bank account number and IFSC.
8) What are the types of Fund Transfer available in IMPS?
  • IMPS fund transfer can be done in the following ways:
    • Fund Transfer using mobile number and MMID (Mobile Money Identifier)
    • Fund Transfer using account number and IFSC code.
  • The Ahmedabad District Co-Operative Bank Ltd. has started the services of IMPS – Fund Transfer using mobile number and MMID (Mobile Money Identifier). Fund Transfer using account number and IFSC would be active soon.
8) Fund Transfer using?
  • Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) is a 7-digit code issued by the bank to the customer for availing IMPS service. MMID is issued to only those customers whose preferred mobile number is registered with the bank. A customer will have different MMIDs for different accounts and all these can be linked to a single mobile number.
